By Car from Manchester
Drive up the M66 to the M65 and turn east to Colne
Drive through Colne on the A6068 then Turn right on School lane.
The turning on School Lane is very easy to miss but there is a sign pointing to Haworth.
Enjoy this road, its very pretty and you might notice some Vaccary walls on the right. These are exactly 706 years old and are quite rare.
Go past the second reservoir and you will see a sign for Ponden on the right.
By Car From Leeds/Bradford/Keighley
Go to Haworth, its sign posted almost everywhere.
From Haworth take Main Street to Stanbury. Keep going through Stanbury and as you start going downhill you will see The Old Silent Inn Pub. Keep going just a bit further and at the bottom of the hill turn left into Ponden.
By Train
The closest mainline station is Keighley, which has regular services to Leeds and London. If you arrive at Keighley you can take the Steam Train to Haworth and then take the bus or taxi to Ponden. Its only about a 2 mile walk but with luggage the taxi might be better.
You can also take the Train to Hebden Bridge and walk from there. It is a stunning walk but it takes a full day so you must start early. We can pickup your bags in Hebden.
By Bus
From Keighley you can also walk to the Keighley Bus Station and take Bus 916 (or 915) which goes to Ponden. If you cant get one of these then please take the 664 Stanbury bus to the end of the line. This ends just above the mill and is about a 10 minute walk down the hill. Please ask at the bus station for help because sometimes the numbers change.
